Prof. Hinrich Uellendahl from Hochschule Flensburg will give an overview of what causes the increasing CO2-concentration in the atmosphere and measures and technologies to reduce it. His presentation will show the science behind the climate effect caused by CO2 and the engineering solutions for it.
You will learn how the keywords – carbon cycle, carbon source, carbon sink, fossil resources, steel production, concrete production, renewable energy, hydrogen, e-fuels, synthetic fuels, power-to-X, biofuels, carbon capture – are connected to today’s climate change challenge.
